HIA 2016 Victorian GreenSmart Energy Efficiency Award

Caring for the planet and reducing the environmental footprint of your home doesn’t mean living in a rustic cabin on a remote bush block. The EcoGrid display home demonstrates you can look after Mother Nature and indulge yourself at the same time. The EcoGrid is the newest addition to the Ecoliv Display Centre and demonstrates a range of beautiful and sustainable features available. Apart from its 8 star energy rated compact and thoughtful design, the home includes off-grid solar-power system and battery storage, solar-powered hot water, double-glazing, natural timber claddings, carbon-neutral paint, recycled glass insulation, vertical garden walls and roof systems and a recycled steel pergola.

The 8 star energy rated Trentham project is an exception to our standard timber subfloor construction. This home was built in our Ecoliv factory and delivered onto a concrete slab to benefit from thermal mass a concrete slab presents. The two module configuration features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an additional study area and living/dining/kitchen area.

BDAV 2011 Building Design Awards

Beaumont Concepts was the designer of Ecoliv Buildings was proud to accept a award from the building designers Assocation of Victoria for Best Envionmentally Sustainable Design - Residental for the Ecoliv Display home. The design principle that ‘big is not better’ and living green is not as complex and expensive as it seems made it the winner in its category.

HIA Boral 2010 GreenSmart Awards

Ecoliv Buildings and Beaumont Concepts are proud to announce their recent success at the prestigious HIA-Boral GreenSmart Awards which recognise the importance of environmentally responsible housing. This year’s awards, held in Melbourne, acknowledged winners across Australia. Judges described this winning entry as the perfect demonstration that small is sustainable, beautiful and classy. Sustainability and design are so well integrated that they are almost inseparable. The clarity and simplicity in the design, both in the spatial planning and expression of form, are strengths of this project.
